Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. molasses, 2/3 c. hot coffee, 1 tbsp. soda and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix sugar, molasses, hot coffee and soda.
Add and mix rest of ingredients.
Chill.
Drop on cookie sheet and put jam in a small hole in center of cookie; sprinkle sugar on and bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
