👨🍳 Instructions
Sift flour, then resift with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon ginger.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add flour mixture to cream mixture alternately with soda that has been dissolved in hot water.
Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350° to 375°.
