Molasses Cake
Molasses Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. butter, 2 eggs, well beaten, 2/3 c. molasses, 2 1/8 c. flour and 3/4 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and sugar.
Mix well.
Gradually add eggs, milk and molasses.
Mix and sift 2 cups flour with soda, salt and spices.
Add to first mixture.
Add dried fruit, such as raisins, apricots, peaches, apples, etc., dredged in remaining 1/8 cup of flour.
Bake in oven at 350Β° for approximately 45 minutes or until done.
