Boil milk and flour together to make a paste; cool.
Combine sugar and Crisco and beat at high speed for 4 to 6 minutes.
Add cooled paste mixture and mix another 4 minutes.
Be sure to stir the flour and milk or it will be lumpy.
This can be used to fill cream puffs, too!!
