Mock Apple Pie
Mock Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. water, 2 tsp. cream of tartar, 22 ritz crackers, crushed and cinnamon (as desired), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine sugar, water and of tartar. Bring to boil; boil minute.
Add crackers and boil 2 more minutes. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Add cinnamon and butter.
Place top crust on pie.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
