Mocha Pecan Pie
Mocha Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped, 1/4 c. plus 1 1/2 tbsp. coffee liqueur (kahlua or tia maria), 3 eggs, beaten, 1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar and 2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In a heavy medium saucepan, combine chocolate and 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur.
Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
Beat until blended.
Add melted chocolate mixture and blend well.
Stir in melted butter and pecans.
Pour filling into pie shell and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until pie is barely set in the center.
Transfer to a rack to cool.
Before serving, whip the cream with remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons coffee liqueur until soft peaks form.
Serve a generous amount of whipped cream with each slice.
