Mixed Fruit Salad
Mixed Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. diced mixed fruits, 1 tsp. unflavored gelatin, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1/4 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Drain fruits.
Soak gelatin in lemon; dissolve over hot water. Blend cream cheese with mayonnaise and salt; stir in gelatin. Whip cream until stiff, adding sugar gradually during last stages of beating.
Fold in cheese mixture, nuts and fruits.
Pour into refrigerator tray lined with waxed paper; freeze until firm.
Turn out on platter.
Remove paper; cut in slices.
Serve on crisp lettuce with additional mayonnaise; garnish with red cherries.
