Mitcham'S Peach Preserves is an easy dinner. Made with 6 lb. ripe small peaches (do not peel), 3 lb. sugar (6 c.) and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Sprinkle sugar over peaches and then pour water over sugar. Cook very slowly to avoid scorching, about 3 to 4 hours.
Keep stirred so they won't scorch.
Remove seed when done.
You may let set overnight and then put in containers.
You can freeze or put in pint jars and hot water bath for 15 minutes.
