Missouri Kraut
Missouri Kraut is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can kraut, 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, 5 strips bacon, 1 c. brown sugar and 1 medium onion, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Dice and fry bacon.
Add onion and saute.
Add kraut, tomatoes and sugar. Simmer about 1 hour. If lesser kraut flavor is desired cook faster and for a longer period of time.
