Missouri Biscuits
Missouri Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. oil and 2/3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the oil and milk.
Beat until mixture clings together.
Pinch off portions and roll in balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Flatten slightly. Melt the butter in a 7 inch skillet.
Place each biscuit in the butter and then turn it over so that each side is buttered.
Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot. Yield: about 8 biscuits.
