Mississippi Mud Pie
Mississippi Mud Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 4 eggs, 1/3 c. cocoa or less, 3 tsp. vanilla and 2 sticks butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs.
Mix well.
Sift flour, cocoa and salt together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 35 minutes at 300Β°.
Place marshmallows on top; return to oven for 10 minutes.
Cool cake 1 hour before icing.
