Mississippi Mud Pie
Mississippi Mud Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1 stick butter, 1 c. pecans, 8 oz. cream cheese and 1 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

For the crust, mix together flour, butter and pecans.
Press into pie plate.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Set aside. For the first layer of filling, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Spread on cooled crust.
For the second layer of filling, mix 2 boxes of instant chocolate pudding according to the directions on the box.
Pour pudding on top of cream cheese mixture.
Top pie with Cool Whip.
Chill.
Serves 8.
