Cream sugar shortening.
Eggs and beat.
Add next 6 ingredients greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 300° for 35 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread marshmallows over the top.
Increase oven temperature to 350° return cake to oven for 10 minutes. Cool 1 hour.
Frost with chocolate frosting.
