Mississippi Mud Cake
Mississippi Mud Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 1/2 c. cocoa, 2 c. sugar, pinch of salt and 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans (if wanted), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt butter and cocoa, remove from heat and stir in sugar and beaten eggs.
Mix well, add flour, salt, chopped nuts and vanilla. Mix well.
Spoon batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with the marshmallows while hot, cover with Chocolate Frosting.
