Mississippi Mud Cake
Mississippi Mud Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Made with c. butter or margarine, c. flaked coconut, c. sifted all-purpose flour, c. cocoa and c. coarsely chopped walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cake
Beat butter or margarine until creamy in a large bowl with electric mixer at medium-high speed.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add coconut, sugar, flour, cocoa, vanilla and walnuts.
Don't beat (heavy batter).
Spread batter in greased (9 x 13 x 2-inch) pan.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.
As soon as cake is taken from oven, spread Marshmallow Crème over hot cake.
Cool for 20 minutes.
