Mississippi Fudge Cake
Mississippi Fudge Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 2 sticks butter, 3 tbsp. cocoa and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven
Sift flour and sugar together. In a saucepan, butter, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil (or put in microwave for 1 minute).
Remove from heat and pour mixture over flour.
Mix well.
Add soda to buttermilk then to flour mixture.
Vanilla into greased and floured
9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour. Ice with Mississippi Fudge Cake Icing.
