Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and baking soda.
Add to melted margarine.
Use slightly more than half the mixture to line an ungreased 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
Combine apples, 4 tablespoons sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Pour into baking dish.
Arrange remaining crumb mixture on top and pat down gently. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
