Mincemeat Fruit Cake
Mincemeat Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. mincemeat, 1 c. raisins, 1 c. chopped nuts, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. melted margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Add raisins, mincemeat, nuts, sugar, butter, vanilla and egg yolks in bowl.
Beat thoroughly.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Sift again and fold into mincemeat mixture.
Pour into a well-greased tube pan.
Bake in a 325Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours. Can be eaten the same day.
It can also be baked and frozen until Christmastime.
