Mincemeat Cake
Mincemeat Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box mincemeat, 1 c. shortening, 2 c. boiling water, 2 tsp. soda and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix mincemeat, salt, shortening, sugar, water and cinnamon; boil 1 minute.
Add soda to mix and let cool, then pour over flour and nuts.
Mix well.
Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 300Β°.
