Milky Way Cake
Milky Way Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 2 hours 4 minutes. Made with milky way candy bars, c. butter, softened and divided, c. sugar, c. flour and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Melt 4 candy bars with 1/2 cup butter in saucepan, stirring constantly
Set aside
Cream sugar and 1/2 cup butter in mixer bowl until fluffy
Beat in flour and eggs
Stir in buttermilk, soda and 2 teaspoons vanilla
Fold in candy mixture
Spoon into greased and floured tube pan
Bake at 300Β° for 75 to 90 minutes
Remove to wire rack to cool
Melt 2 candy bars and 1/2 cup butter with milk in saucepan, stirring constantly
Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla and confectioners sugar
Frost cooled cake
