Microwave Ruby Red Strawberry Pie
Microwave Ruby Red Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. water, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, sliced strawberries, thawed and 1 qt. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and water in a large glass mixing bowl until smooth. Stir in frozen strawberries and juice. Microwave for 2 minutes on High. Stir and continue cooking for 2 to 5 minutes on High or until thickened.
Fold whole strawberries into glaze mixture.
Pour into baked pastry shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
Makes a 9-inch pie.
