Microwave Rice is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 1 c. long grain rice, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In 2-quart deep casserole, put 2 cups water, salt and butter. Add cover.
Microwave on High power for 5 minutes.
Remove from microwave and add rice.
Stir.
Cover and microwave on 50% power for 18 to 20 minutes.
