Microwave Meaty Macaroni
Microwave Meaty Macaroni is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked, 1 c. water and 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cook ground beef in microwave 4 to 5 minutes on High in a plastic colander which has been placed in a dish to catch the grease.
Combine all ingredients in a large casserole dish except the cheese and cook on High, covered 12 to 14 minutes.
Stir halfway through cooking time.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Let stand covered 4 to 6 minutes before serving.
