Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. oleo, 1/4 c. white karo syrup, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Pop the 2 cups of popcorn according to directions.
Take a large brown grocery bag and spray the inside with Pam.
Put the popped corn in the bag.
Bring to boil the sugar, oleo, syrup and salt.
Boil for a full 2 minutes on High, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add soda.
Pour mixture into bag and stir into the popcorn.
Fold bag down and shake.
Put bag into microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
Take out and shake then return it to the microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes.
