Mexicanos is an easy dinner. Made with 1 jiffy cornbread mix (prepare according to directions), 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and hot chili or baked beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Season meat with salt.
Shape into 6 patties, then saute to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, slice and toast corn-bread squares. Serve one patty on each square.
Pour hot chili or baked beans over all.
Nice with tomato soup.
