Mexican Style Cornbread
Mexican Style Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter flavored crisco, 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen corn, 1 can (4 oz.) green chilies, diced and drained, 1/3 c. onion, chopped and 1 medium tomato, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In 2-quart saucepan melt Crisco.
Add onions and cook over medium heat until tender.
Stir in corn, tomato, green chilies, water and garlic powder.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Uncover and continue cooking for 3 minutes or until hot.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
