Mexican Rice Casserole
Mexican Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled, 1 lb ground beef, 1 8 oz can tomato sauce, 1 t chili powder and 2 c shredded cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown and drain beef.
Add water, tomato sauce, salt, chili powder, Picante Sauce and rice.
Heat to boiling and cover. Simmer 20 minutes.
Spoon 1/2 of mixture in 2 qt casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cheese and bacon.
Add remaining meat mixture and top with cheese and brown.
Bake at 450 F for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
You can microwave this meal also.
