Mexican Party Bread
Mexican Party Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 long loaf rye or vienna bread, 1 pt. sour cream, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 small can chopped mild chili peppers (el paso) and 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Slice top off the loaf of bread.
Hollow inside and break into pieces to dip later.
Mix together sour cream, cream cheese, chili peppers, Cheddar cheese and dried beef (cut into pieces).
Pour this filling into hollowed out bread.
Put sliced top back on and wrap in foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
You can rinse the dried beef to take off some of the salt.
Dry well and then proceed. You can also add, if you wish, minced onion, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
