Mexican Cornbread Casserole
Mexican Cornbread Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. jalapeño cornbread mix, 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn, 2 c. grated cheese, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 lb. hamburger meat or fresh ground turkey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown meat and chopped onion; add salt and pepper.
Prepare cornbread mix according to directions and add cream-style corn. Layer ingredients in greased baking dish, beginning with 1/2 cornbread/corn mixture, 1/2 meat, 1/2 grated cheese and repeat the layers.
Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes or until browned.
