Mexican Cornbread
Mexican Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cornmeal, 1 can cream-style corn, 1 c. sweet milk, 2 eggs and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix cornmeal, corn, milk, eggs and salt.
Set aside.
Cook ground beef and onion until well done (not brown); turn off heat. Add grated cheese and peppers.
Mix well.
Grease skillet and brown a small amount of cornmeal in bottom to prevent sticking. Pour in 1/2 of batter; spoon ground beef mixture over this.
Add balance of batter.
Cook 1 hour at 350° or until done.
