Mexican Cornbread
Mexican Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, browned, 1 chopped onion to taste, chopped jalapeño to taste, salt to taste and 1 small can chopped green chiles, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Brown the ground beef.
Add chopped onion and jalapeño to taste.
Salt to taste and simmer for 5 minutes; drain.
Stir in chopped green chiles.
Grate American cheese or Cheddar cheese. Mix cornbread mix and eggs (do not add milk).
Add corn.
Pour 1/2 cornbread mixture into a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
Top with meat and onion mixture.
Pour on the Ranch Style beans.
Sprinkle on grated cheese.
Pour remaining bread mixture over top.
Bake at 350° until done.
