Mexican Cornbread
Mexican Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. self-rising corn meal, 1 c. sweet milk, 1 can cream-style corn, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Use a big iron skillet.
Mix corn meal, sweet milk, cream-style corn, salt, baking soda and eggs together; set aside. Brown ground chuck and red cayenne pepper; drain (keep grease). Mix grease into meal mixture (optional).
Brown 1/2 teaspoon corn meal with 1 tablespoon grease in skillet.
