Cook meat and onion in skillet until done.
Mix corn bread mix, eggs, milk, peppers and 1/2 can of corn.
Layer, as follows, in a greased 9-inch casserole
1/2 corn bread mixture, then meat and onion, cheese, 1/2 (the remaining) corn and then the remaining corn bread mixture.
Bake at 425Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
