Meringue Shells
Meringue Shells is an easy dinner. Made with whites of 4 large eggs, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 c. granulated sugar and 1 c. and 2 tbsp. powdered sugar, sifted and measured in cup lightly, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat eggs until foamy; beat in salt and cream of tartar.
Add sugar a tablespoon at a time, beating gradually, then add powdered sugar.
Beat until it will not drop from beaters.
Put on greased wax paper.
Bake at 275Β° for 20 minutes.
Turn off oven and leave in oven for 5 minutes.
Cool and remove from pan.
