Meridith's Favorite Meat Sauce
Meridith'S Favorite Meat Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. ground turkey, 1 lb. turkey sausage, 1 large can tomato purée (29 oz.), 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste and garlic to taste, chopped (the more the better), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
👨🍳 Instructions
Saute garlic in small amount of olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add purée, paste and 1 1/2 purée cans of water.
Brown turkey; use Pam or turkey will stick to pan.
Drain and add turkey to sauce. Brown sausage; drain and add to sauce.
Add bay leaves, basil and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 2 hours.
