Melt-in-Your Mouth Sugar Cookies
Melt-In-Your Mouth Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (1/2 c. crisco and 1/2 c. margarine), 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add egg and mix well.
Add vanilla and mix until blended well.
Stir in dry ingredients and mix until creamy.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a small glass dipped in white sugar.
Works better if cool dough in refrigerator for awhile.
Can then roll out with fingers.
Makes nicer and rounder cookies.
Bake at 375Β° for 5 to 8 minutes or until brown.
