Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. cooked chicken, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 c. flour (self-rising), 1 c. buttermilk and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Spray a medium baking dish with Pam.
Place bite size pieces of chicken in bottom of dish.
Mix soup and 1 1/2 cups of broth from cooked chicken; pour over chicken.
Make a batter of 1 stick margarine (melted), 1 cup flour, 1 cup buttermilk and black pepper; pour over top of chicken.
Bake at 425Β° until golden brown.
