Meat Potato Bake
Meat Potato Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1 tsp. onion, cut in small pieces, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put meat and onion in pan.
Brown.
Add salt and stir.
Melt butter or margarine in another pan.
Add flour to melted butter; stir until smooth.
Add milk a little at a time.
Stir as you add milk.
Cook until thick to make sauce.
Stir as it cooks.
Put half of potatoes in a baking dish.
Add half of meat, then add half of sauce.
Add rest of potatoes, meat and sauce.
Cover baking dish.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove cover and brown under broiler until brown, about 5 minutes.
This recipe doubles well.
