Meat Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pork (shoulder) for 2 pies, 1/2 c. bread crumbs, 3/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. allspice and 1/2 tsp. cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Fry onion in butter until golden.

Put meat in pan and cook (do not fry) until white.

Pour off if excess fat; must have some. Put bread crumbs and spices in and mix together.

Divide into 2 pie crusts and cover with crust.

Bake 1/2 hour in 400° oven.

Can be made and frozen for future use.

Just head in 350° oven until warm.

Makes 6 to 8 servings per pie.
