Marzetti
Marzetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. oleo or butter, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 small can mushroom pieces (drain) and 1 c. fine bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Melt oleo in skillet; add ground meat.
Break up as you fry. Sprinkle garlic salt, pepper and salt.
Just before done, add green pepper, onions and mushrooms.
Cook noodles and drain. Spray casserole dish with Pam.
In bottom of bowl, spread 1 tablespoon sauce.
Add about 3 tablespoons meat mixture; put 1 cup noodles.
Repeat this twice more.
Top with tomato sauce, cheese and bread crumbs.
Cover and bake in 375Β° oven until cheese is hot and melted.
