Mary'S Sweet Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium sweet potatoes, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, dash of nutmeg, 1/2 c. pecans, chopped and 1 c. apricot nectar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Peel, cook and slice sweet potatoes into 1-inch slices.
Bring sugar, nectar, butter, lemon peel, cinnamon and nutmeg to a boil. Boil gently for 2 minutes.
Arrange potatoes in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Pour sauce over potatoes.
Sprinkle with nuts.
