Mary'S Basic Cookie Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 2 eggs, 3 1/2 c. flour, pinch of salt and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream together margarine and sugar; blend and add in eggs. Add vanilla.

Add sifted dry ingredients.

Blend well.

Divide dough into 4 parts.

Each part can be used for another cookie. You can roll into a log and pour colored sugar on wax paper and roll dough over it and freeze.

When it is solid, you can slice cookies or you can add a tablespoon of cocoa to another roll and then freeze until solid, then slice and bake.

Or you can put part into cookie press or you can roll out on floured board and make cut out cookies.

Bake at 350Β° approximately 15 minutes.

You can also add nuts to one part.
