Mary Jane's Apple Crisp
Mary Jane'S Apple Crisp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 c. sliced apples or 1 qt. canned, unsweetened, sliced apples, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and place apples in bottom.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add unbeaten egg.
Cut or stir in the egg until all is coarse like oatmeal.
Put this over top of the apples.
Melt margarine.
Pour over the flour mixture.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown on top.
