Make cream sauce with the butter, flour and milk in the top of a double boiler.
Add onion, grated cheese, egg, salt, pepper and crabmeat (broken up).
Put in casserole and cover with buttered crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° until sauce bubbles through, about 20 minutes.
