Marinated Slaw
Marinated Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cabbage, 1 onion, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. white vinegar and 3/4 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Chop cabbage as desired.
Cut onions into thin rings.
Toss together and set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients and boil for 1 minute.
Pour dressing over cabbage and onion.
Refrigerate overnight or at least 12 hours, stirring 2 or 3 times.
This will keep 3 weeks in glass container in refrigerator.
Serves 8 to 10.
