Marinated Layered Lettuce Salad
Marinated Layered Lettuce Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, 1/4 c. diced celery, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 can diced water chestnuts and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Break lettuce in large bowl with lid.
Add in layers the celery, onion, water chestnuts and frozen peas.
Cover with 1 cup of mayonnaise.
Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese; cover and refrigerate overnight.
Toss just before serving.
Garnish with tomato, chopped eggs or bacon bits.
