Marinara Sauce
Marinara Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 crushed garlic clove, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 3/4 c. whole peeled tomatoes and juice (14 1/2 oz. can) and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Saute onion and garlic in oil.
Cut up tomatoes; add tomatoes and juice, tomato sauce, salt, basil and oregano.
Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Cook pasta according to label directions.
Drain.
Pour sauce over hot cooked pasta.
Makes 8 servings.
