Maple Biscuit Ring
Maple Biscuit Ring is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts, 1/4 c. maple flavored syrup and 2 (10 oz.) cans hungry jack refrigerated flaky biscuits, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 350°.
Lightly grease 12 cup fluted tube pan. In medium saucepan, melt margarine; stir in brown sugar, nuts and syrup.
Pour 1/4 cup sugar mixture into prepared pan.
Separate biscuit dough into 20 biscuits.
Stand biscuits on edge, slightly overlapping around pan.
Pour remaining sugar mixture over biscuits.
Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 3 minutes; invert onto serving plate.
Serve warm. Makes 1 coffee cake; 10 servings.
