Manicotti
Manicotti is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. italian sweet sausage links, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato purée and 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook sausage links in Dutch oven until brown.
Drain in paper toweling and remove fat from pan.
Brown ground beef and onion well; stir in tomato purée, paste, sugar, pepper, 1 teaspoon basil, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 cup water.
Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes. Cut sausage into bite-size pieces and add to mixture.
Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, cook manicotti as label directs; drain in colander.
Preheat oven to 375°.
