Manhattan Meat Roll

Sift flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt into a mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening pastry blender until mixture resembles a fine meal.
All at once and mix to form a soft dough.
Use a lightly floured board.
Put dough on the floured board and knead lightly about 20 times.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. for 10 to 15 minutes.
